Son of adoptive parents Allen and Sue (both deceased) Attended Illinois Wesleyan University and Columbia College in Chicago. Also studied with Del Close at Chicago's Second City. Has one son by his ex-wife (1986 - 1990) "Ivonne" and two children by girlfriend "Lisa." According to IMDB, since summer 1998, he's been dating Lacy Livingston.
